FAQ

What should I bring to my first design consultation?

Rough measurements of your current space.

Inspiration photos (Pinterest boards or magazine clippings).

An appliance list (are you keeping your current ones or buying new?).

A realistic budget range so we can guide you toward the right materials.

Do you charge for an initial consultation?

Initial Consultation: A complimentary design concept and preliminary pricing are provided based on client-supplied information.

In-Home Measurement: An optional service is available for a non-refundable $100 fee, which is credited toward your final project purchase.

Design Retainer: To proceed with detailed revisions, a non-refundable $500 design retainer is required. This retainer is credited toward your final order

How much does a typical kitchen remodel cost?

Costs vary based on the size of the room and the materials chosen.

What is the "hidden" cost of a kitchen remodel?

We recommend setting aside a 10–15% contingency fund. This covers "behind-the-wall" surprises like outdated wiring, plumbing issues, or structural repairs that only become visible once demolition begins.

How long will my project take?

Every project is unique, but here is a general timeline:

Design Phase: 2–4 weeks (Selecting materials and finalizing layouts).

Ordering: 2–6 weeks (Depending on cabinet lead times).

Construction: 4-10 weeks (From demolition to the final "punch list")

Will I be without a kitchen during the remodel?

Yes, there will be a period where your kitchen is a "construction zone." We help you plan for this by discussing "temporary kitchen" setups (microwave/hot plate stations) to make the transition easier for your family.

Do you only do kitchens?

Not at all! Our "and more" includes custom cabinetry and design for bathrooms, laundry rooms, home offices, mudrooms, and custom closets. If it involves cabinetry and functional design, we can help

Do you handle the actual construction, or just the design?

We are a full-service studio. We manage everything from the initial 3D rendering to the final installation.

Designing and building beautiful, functional kitchens tailored to your lifestyle. Excellence in every detail, from concept to completion.
